About Jake

Proud husband and father. First responder. Veteran. A steadfast voice for what’s right.

Jake Lepper is a proud Fitchburg dad, first responder, veteran, and community leader who believes in building a city where families can thrive. With a background in public service and a heart for bringing people together, Jake is committed to practical solutions that keep Fitchburg safe, welcoming, and forward-looking.

Whether it’s supporting strong neighborhoods, protecting our natural spaces, or making sure every voice is heard, Jake brings both lived experience and steady leadership to the work of the council. Above all, he’s guided by service to his family, his country, and his community.

Jake treasures time with his husband, their daughter, and their two dogs, Francis and Benedict. At home, he’s just as likely to be at the piano or lost in a good book as he is chasing the dogs around the yard. And as a lifelong Wisconsinite, he’ll admit there’s nothing better than ending a long day with a proper Old Fashioned (brandy, of course).

This is why I serve: for families, for the future we share, and for the little hands that will carry it forward.
